Experience art from all over the world and throughout many different time periods at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The DIA offers a wide range of art from European to Africa, Oceania and the Indigenous Americas to Asian and to Performing Arts. Everyone is sure to find something to enjoy and connect with.
Entry to the museum is free for residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Michigan driver’s license or state ID is required.
The DIA is located in Midtown Detroit at 5200 Woodward Avenue Detroit, Michigan 48202
Admission to the museum is:
- $12.50 for adults.
- $8 for seniors.
- $7 for college students.
- $6 for youth (6-17 years old)
- Free for children 5 and under, as well as members.
- Military Personnel and their families are free from Memorial Day through Labor Day as part of the blue STar Museums program.
